Our Aspirations
Transform Merbein’s main street into a vibrant and attractive place to visit, shop and enjoy for locals and visitors, in particular cafes, install streetlights, create new footpaths and bike paths.

The Merbein Development Association brings together residents, businesses, community groups and local leaders who are passionate about making Merbein an even better place to live, work and visit. We work collaboratively to support positive community outcomes, advocate for local priorities, and help turn ideas into action. Whether you have a specific project in mind, want to contribute to community planning initiatives, or simply care about the future of Merbein, your voice is valued.
Our meetings provide an opportunity to discuss local issues, progress community plan priorities, identify emerging opportunities and advocate for projects that benefit the wider community. By becoming involved, you can help shape decisions, strengthen community connections and contribute to the long-term success of our town.
All are welcome to attend. We meet at 7:30 pm on the second Tuesday of every month at the Merbein Library.
